Southampton Dog ParkDogs

At Forever Bungalows some of our favorite guests have fur and tails!

Is Sag Harbor dog friendly? Yes! Sylvester’s, Fingers Fine Haircutting, SagTown, Salon 66, LT Burger, Canio’s Books, Geek Hampton, Harbor Market, Provisions and Grindstone all have water bowls out in front of their storefronts.

Is Forever Bungalows pet friendly? Yes! We encourage our furry friends…who love to love…to come stay with us. We do charge a little extra to keep their company, but that nets out in us being able to provide a safe welcoming home away from home for them. Click here to learn more.

Does Sag Harbor have a dog park? Not a formal one, local dog lovers are working on that… but Havens Beach (about a mile-and-a-half from us) has a grassy field near the boat launch where people and dogs gather, especially late in the day.

Hamptons DogsForever Bungalows offers a free town of East Hampton parking pass you need for the big fenced-in, wooded dog park in East Hampton.

The dog park in Southampton doesn’t need a parking pass and it’s right in the village, near “everything”.

From October through May the ocean beaches are open for dogs anytime, every day – Forever Bungalows are owned and operated by locals who have the skinny on which beaches will fit your tastes, your day, your life .

Why all the fuss about dogs? Because we want you to bring yours!

Havens Beach Dog Park

Havens Beach Road (off Bay Street)
Sag Harbor

WHAT’S GREAT: An open field, connecting to a bay beach; a steady crew of morning and sunset regulars, year-round, free doggie bags.
WHAT’S NOT: No fence, with an active parking lot between the field and the beach.

Springs Dog Park

Off Three Mile Harbor Road
Entrance at the end of an unnamed street, between Whipple Street and Manor Lane
East Hampton

WHAT’S GREAT: 22 acres of fun + committed dog lovers who like to walk and talk.
WHAT’S NOT: Ticks in the long grasses and in the woods – check your dog thoroughly after they romp there!

Southampton Dog Park

151 Windmill Lane
Southampton Dog Park on Facebook

WHAT’S GREAT: Dogs come and go all day long; water bowls all over.
WHAT’S NOT: You might go into Southampton and buy things you don’t really need.

Ocean Road/Straight Beach

The Atlantic Ocean
at the end of Ocean Road, Bridgehampton

WHAT’S GREAT: Open all year, including summer; summer hours: before 9 am and after 6 pm. Beautiful ride between Forever Bungalows and there — Especially at Sunset!
WHAT’S NOT: You have to watch your dogs as surfers, fisherman, etc. drive on the beach in the off season. When the wind blows hard, it can be tough on little dogs 🙁
